Bio

Thomas E. Drake II is one of the top three criminal defense trial attorneys in the State of
Alabama. A battle-hardened veteran of world-famous court cases for over 34 years; Drake has represented over 25,000 defendants in twelve states. His clients include judges, doctors, dentists and CEO’s who have run afoul of the law. When lawyers are charged with state or federal crimes, they know who to call.
There are few attorneys who can match Drakes credentials. He has been admitted, and
has practiced, before the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and four United States District Courts; including the Southern District of Illinois. In addition to the foregoing, Drake has represented accused clients in California, Arizona, Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Oregon, Arkansas and New York. If you have a criminal case outside the State of Alabama, you’ll know who to call.
Over the last three decades, Drake has tried over 250 jury trials in state and federal
courts, with a win record of 87.5%. in appeals, he has reversal rate of over 50%; when only 3% of overall cases are reversed before the appellate courts. So, even though your other attorney lost in the lower court, you’ll know who to call in the event you need to seek an appellate review.
In Cullman County, Drake has more trial experience than the entire bar combined.
Meaning, that he has tried and won more cases that all local attorneys COMBINED. Thus, if you need representation in Cullman, whether it be municipal or county court, you won’t have any question about who to call. And feel free to do so when you have an issue, whether it is a traffic offence, misdemeanor or serious felony case, at 256-739-9445. And remember, Drake tries
cases in “ANY COUNTY, ANY STATE.”
